Nazca Lines Design

This one was pretty hard to figure out what I wanted to do with each of the strange geoglyphs in Peru known as the Nazca Lines named after the Nazca civilization they were made by. Each of these lines stretched around two miles long and were made from digging long, geometric trenches in the red soil, revealing the light coloured lines.

A client asked to have these shapes reinterpreted in my neo-aztec style that I’ve been toying around with and I said yes. So here’s the landing strips for the Sun Gods to see as a beacon from the heavens:
