All of these acrylic paintings are for sale and some I hand built the stretchers and wrapped the canvas myself. I take great pride in each piece that I create. There are mixed series in the gallery but they all have a similar style, some with scribbled poems of mine hidden in the paint, some explore a more photo-real side with a dreamy, sometimes impressionist feel so I consider them “photo surreal” for the impression or memory takes on a new life beyond the initial moment it was captured. It is now up to the viewer to decide the cause, effect and resolution. Finally, towards the end, we see an exploration into purely expressional pieces that I sometimes visit to get away from the rigid rigor of my illustrations.
