2016: I, Voyager

And so I desired a journey that would take me far and bring new horizons. I wished to reach out to the world around me in a broader, more personal way. So I am planning a trip mid-year that will change my life. I want to experience a couple new regions across the west coast where Surrealism is alive.

“The imaginary is what tends to become real.”
André Breton

I’ve been working on my art very hard over the last couple years, waiting to branch out. There are several galleries I’m looking at, mostly in California and so an Art Tour is in the works. (Want to help me fund such a tremendous endeavor? Email me about my Art Support Program.)

The clothing brand continues to expand… We are printing more beautifully illustrated science quote t-shirts than ever. The designs are getting better, the following is growing. We are really tapped into a collective consciousness of harmony. Just need to venture to shops in other cities who will be smart enough to take advantage like the ones who are making bank with us.

Time to finally celebrate the transition into the new year, the new life. The Pupation Season has occurred and now the new form is solid underneath the pupal chamber. A strong struggle is ahead to break through old skin and into the final form. God Beetle is projected to be done around early to mid year.

I’ve been plotting and planning some new things this year as well. So much to show you. I need to post more on here! My post on Bored Panda has reached 6,000+ views in just 9 days!

My advice for this year is this:

It takes time for the world to catch up to you sometimes. So in the mean time, just keep making art, or whatever it is you do. Really. Critics are lame. You do what pleases you and hone your craft. Give it 1000’s of hours. You will be great at it after that. If you love it, and stick with it, the world will love you for being true to that vision. You won’t follow through if you don’t love it though, as Steve Jobs would have said. If you don’t have a vision, I probably can’t help you. Mine came in a lucid dream. So… maybe try that. After that? Go with your intuition.
