Metamorphosis Stage 2 of 4: Balloon Ride View

Finally got a photo of this one. I really enjoyed this piece as it pushes the series forward into a mixture of  greyscale sumi ink and some asian watercolours I tried for the 1st time. Most went great, but the one pigment I used on the kid’s animal costume seemed to never dry until I would cover it in spray fixatif. Didn’t like that too much, so will keep experimenting as I’m sure it works better on a porous surface like paper vs. masonite hard board.

About The Fink

Vincent Fink’s work is surrealism in it’s purest form. His dark images with warped perspectives invite the viewer into a world that came from a lucid dream in which he observed the completed work. Pushing himself to recreate something that was beyond his imagination and skill in his waking life, Vincent has used this inspiration to develop the Metamorphosis Project, a concept that continues to spawn the hidden messages of his dreams.
